Amangarh Tiger Reserve is a protected area located in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is situated in the Terai region and covers an area of around 578 sq km. The reserve is known for its rich biodiversity and is home to several species of flora and fauna, including tigers, leopards, elephants, and a variety of bird species. The reserve offers visitors the opportunity to explore the area through jeep safari, elephant safari and also by foot.
At present, the forest department has set a 30 km track for tourists to roam inside Amangarh. If we talk about the fees, at present five people will be allowed to go in a gypsy and tourists will have to pay a fee of Rs 2280 for this. At the same time, a fee of Rs 100 per tourist, Rs 400 for a guide will have to be paid.
